The mayor of Hurricane asked for some volunteers to clear out the vacant property next to Wells Fargo before Peach Days. Our Kids Care Club was asked to help and some college students from a singles ward volunteered as well. There were three college students who were able to come and The Clyde family and Sanchez family came from the Kids Care Club. We showed up at 9:00am with some shovels. While the adults shoveled up the weeds the kids were able to pile them near a dumpter.
All of us starting to dig and pull weeds and put them in piles.

couple college students in the background.

We were then able to rake up the loose weeds and put them in
orange bags to stack them with the former pile of weeds.
Jose was able to clear the land a lot better then we would have without his help.

Charis and Amy proud of the pile.
This is the group that volunteered their Saturday morning to help our community.
